125 mm Gun Systems

MHIL manufactures, rebuilds, and overhauls complete 125 mm main-gun assemblies and their precision subsystems to restore barrel-line accuracy, safety, and battlefield readiness. Our MRO scope covers structural gun cradles, machined breech blocks and breech rings, safeguard plates, elevating gearboxes, thermal sleeves, and recuperator units—each restored through dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing, and fitment to original equipment specifications. From worn rifling interfaces to fatigued recoil components, every part is returned to service with traceable workmanship suited to sustained main battle tank operations.

Tank & Artillery Gun Barrels

Our barrel-line capability spans 105 mm and 125 mm tank gun barrels alongside 155 mm artillery tubes, supporting both new manufacture and full-life overhaul programmes. MHIL applies advanced turning, rifling, stress-relief, and metrology processes to recover bore geometry, chamber integrity, and muzzle performance on high-wear weapon systems. Each barrel is handled with dedicated fixtures and inspection records, ensuring alignment with national and export fleet requirements. Whether replacing a life-expired tank tube or refurbishing a heavy artillery barrel, we deliver restored firepower with the structural confidence demanded of frontline platforms.

Gun Control Systems

Gun laying accuracy depends on reliable electro-mechanical control chains, and MHIL overhauls the full suite of gun-control electronics and actuators that keep turret weapon systems on target. We rebuild vertical drive units, protection modules, PT-800 regulators, memory units, gun control units, joysticks, starting distributors, transistor drivers, angle limiters, ammunition selectors, and gunner control panels. Each assembly undergoes functional bench testing, connector refurbishment, and calibration against platform interfaces so that elevation, traverse, and fire solution inputs respond with the precision expected in combat conditions.

Fire Control Systems

Fire-control performance is restored through expert overhaul of the computers and sensors that compute ballistic solutions in real time. MHIL services fire-control computers with their full switch-panel interfaces, meteorological sensor suites for wind and atmospheric correction, angular velocity sensors for stabilised targeting, and charge temperature sensors that safeguard propellant performance. Components are cleaned, rewired where necessary, tested on dedicated rigs, and certified for reinstallation—helping crews achieve first-round accuracy across changing terrain, temperature, and engagement envelopes.

Optronics & Optical Sights

Crew situational awareness relies on rugged optical paths and stabilised optronics, and MHIL rebuilds both the mechanical sighting hardware and the electronic boards that keep images steady under motion. Our MRO portfolio includes commander vision blocks, driver and gunner periscopes, gyroscope power boards, image-stabilising circuits, laser power modules, common power boards, amplifying assemblies, and embedded logic units. Lenses, seals, and PCB assemblies are refurbished to eliminate moisture ingress, drift, and signal loss—returning day-and-night targeting clarity to armoured fighting vehicles operating in the harshest field environments.

Chassis & Hull Components

Hull integrity and crew protection are sustained through precision rebuild of armoured structural and accessory components that endure constant battlefield stress. MHIL overhauls commander hatch bases, buffer brackets and plates, cupola mounting assemblies, front mud-guard sets, smoke grenade launcher clusters, and vehicle-mounted tool stowage boxes. Fabrication, weld recovery, surface treatment, and fit-check assembly ensure each component mates cleanly to the host platform—extending service life while preserving ballistic and environmental protection for crews and mission-critical equipment.

Running Gear & Suspension

Mobility and ride quality are rebuilt from the ground up through comprehensive running-gear and suspension MRO. MHIL restores roller assemblies, torsion bars, road wheels, drive sprockets, rubber track pads, complete track links, impeller fans, and engine radiators that absorb the punishing loads of cross-country armoured operations. Worn bearings, fatigued suspension elements, and heat-exchanger cores are refurbished or replaced to OEM geometry, returning reliable traction, cooling performance, and crew comfort over long operational cycles.

Power Pack & Engine Overhaul

Engine power-pack overhaul returns propulsion reliability to heavy armoured platforms through meticulous remanufacture of core combustion and drivetrain components. MHIL rebuilds pistons, cylinder liners, oil pumps, idle gears, superchargers, main bearings, intake manifolds, and camshafts using controlled machining, honing, and assembly clean-room practices. Each component is inspected for wear limits, paired with compatible mates, and prepared for integration into complete engine rebuild programmes that maximise uptime for fleet operators.

Vehicle Environmental Systems

Fighting effectiveness depends on stable onboard environments, and MHIL services the environmental-control assemblies that regulate temperature and airflow inside sealed armoured hulls. We overhaul control boxes, inner heat-exchanger units, external louvred condenser modules, heater assemblies, bent piping runs, mounting straps, hose clamps, gaskets, and filtration screens. Systems are leak-tested, electrically verified, and refitted to restore crew comfort, electronics cooling, and reliable operation across extreme desert and high-altitude deployments.

Electrical Systems

Platform electrical resilience is maintained through rebuild of power-conversion and special-purpose control hardware that keeps armoured systems mission-ready. MHIL overhauls ventilation fans, silicon rectifiers, temperature control boxes, smoke-screen control enclosures, steering-lamp controllers, and thermal smoke-screen modules. Connectors, PCB assemblies, and housings are refurbished to eliminate intermittent faults, corrosion, and heat-related failures—supporting dependable electrical performance across turret, hull, and countermeasure subsystems.

Crew & Support Systems

Crew effectiveness and field sustainment are supported through overhaul of human-factor and maintenance equipment that keeps armour operating in remote conditions. MHIL rebuilds gunner and driver seating assemblies with harnesses and mounting frames, high-capacity filtration units, fuel refilling pump sets with hoses, and torque-multiplier track adjustment toolkits. Each item is restored for ergonomic safety, structural integrity, and repeatable maintenance procedures—ensuring crews remain secure, supplied, and equipped to keep platforms mission-capable between overhauls.
